Appco Thailand helps Phayathai Babies Home

Appco Group Thailand raised 15,000 THB for Phayathai Babies' Home during a recent activity day to celebrate the organisation’s eight-year anniversary.
The home, which provides care for several hundred orphaned and HIV positive children, is run by Thailand's Department of Public Welfare, and is the country’s biggest orphanage for children aged under five.
The money raised by Appco staff, as part of the company's corporate social responsibility efforts, went towards supplying essential baby items, including food, clothes and toys.
A group of Appco staff also had the chance to visit the home and spend time with the children.
Special Events and Guest Relationship Manager Jindaporn Boonnoi said it was a rewarding experience to see the impact of Appco’s fundraising efforts.
“The kids were so happy to see us and we really enjoyed playing and spending time with them. It was really lovely to see their happy faces,” she said.
“We hope we have helped make a small difference to this charity and to the children. “
